Temporary residence is a temporary address where you will stay longer than three months without permanent settlement.

Obtain proof for the address
If you are not the owner, prepare the landlord’s certified consent or request it electronically through e-Citizens.

Register temporary residence at the competent police office
Contact the police administration or station for the address within 15 days of arrival.

Extend the registration if you stay longer
Registration normally lasts up to one year and must be extended on time if the reasons for staying continue.

A landlord can give electronic consent if owner or co-owner. If unable to sign digitally, the service can generate a form for handwritten signature.

Sign in to e-Residence with a high-security-level credential, enter address and stay period, and submit electronically within 15 days of arrival.
