How to apply

This procedure has one application method.

Submit only through eFZOEU using a NIAS credential with a substantial security level.

Check whether the call applies to you
EnU-2/26 is for adult individuals with residence in Croatia purchasing one new electric vehicle in category L1–L7 or M1. Electric bicycles, including pedal-assist bicycles, are not covered.

Check the vehicle and maximum possible grant
For L1–L7, the grant is up to EUR 2,500 and at most 40% of price, for vehicles up to EUR 35,000 including VAT. For M1, it is up to EUR 9,000 for prices up to EUR 35,000, or EUR 7,000 above that, at most 40%, and the vehicle may not cost more than EUR 62,500 including VAT.

Prepare prescribed attachments
Complete the application form, obtain a current residence certificate, sign the declaration and request an informative offer with required details. Upload all attachments other than the form as PDFs.

Submit one application through eFZOEU
From 28 October 2026 at 9:00, sign in with a substantial-level NIAS credential, enter data, upload documents and submit. The application cannot be changed or supplemented after submission.

Save the confirmation and follow status
The system generates an application confirmation after submission. Applications are processed by order received; check “My applications” and respond to any Fund request for clarification.

After approval, buy and retain the vehicle
Buy and register the vehicle in the prescribed period and fulfil contractual obligations. Retain ownership or use for at least two years from the Fund’s payment.

This guide concerns only the EnU-2/26 call for citizens, not business or previously closed calls.
The call can end before year-end when funds are exhausted; check FZOEU status again before submitting.
A vehicle fully paid before the call was published is not eligible; financial leasing may be eligible, while operating leasing is not.
One person may submit only one application for one vehicle, and no changes or new application are possible after submission.

Applying for an electric bicycle or used vehicle.
The residence certificate is older than 30 days.
The offer omits vehicle category or electric propulsion.
Treating the grant as the full price discount although the Fund pays at most 40% of eligible costs.
