Check that you meet conditions
The applicant must have prescribed residence status and compulsory health insurance; the child must be entered in the birth register, insured and registered at the applicant’s address.

Submit the HZZO application within the statutory deadline
For a child born, apply within six months of birth; for an adopted child, within 30 days of adoption.
